Round Table Meeting with President Trump

On October 25, 2017, the World Peace Association attended a roundtable meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Dallas, Texas. The president, during this time, was being criticized by the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Twitter. The purpose of the World Peace Association is to resolve the contradictions and differences between countries through dialogue and communication and to promote peaceful development. The roundtable conference with President Trump not only discussed the North Korean issue but also the relationship between the U.S. and China and the development of the Belt and Road Initiative in the U.S.
