We need to take this opportunity to think about how we’ve failed our planet. Ms. Zhang says, “Man must learn to revere heaven and earth, revere nature, and revere life.” People around the globe are all under the same roof, so to speak, as we all adhere to quarantine and stay-at-home orders. “The earliest this pandemic will end is the first half of next year. So we have to live on this earth, in these conditions, no matter if we are white, black, or yellow. There is no way for us to transcend nature” she explains. So think about how you can help improve our environment, because it’s not just your home, it’s home to humanity. And we should leave it a greener and cleaner place for our children, and our children’s children, says Ms. Zhang.
